Michele Mulligan concentrates in the areas of professional liability defense, insurance coverage, commercial litigation, community associations and adoption law. She has represented accountants, lawyers, physicians, nurses, hospitals, and nursing homes in a wide range of claims concerning their provision of professional services and related matters. She also provides insurance carriers with opinions concerning insurance coverage and represents them in litigation. She provides advice and services to businesses related to a variety of litigation. Ms. Mulligan represents homeowners associations in a wide range of issues and in litigation. She also represents families in adoptions.

Ms. Mulligan was previously a partner with the firm of Thompson, Smithers, Newman, Wade & Childress, and Childress, Gould & Russell. She has served as a claims attorney with a professional liability carrier where she investigated and evaluated professional and general liability claims, determined coverage, directed litigation, and negotiated and resolved claims. Prior to that time she worked with the Board of Medicine in its discipline section.
